Anthony Dillistone:

Mr. Dillistone is a co-founding partner of MediaMojos, where he specializes in tactical market development, business, sales and cross-platform distribution strategies for MediaMojos’ digital media, mobile and entertainment clients’. He has led a significant range of domestic and international sports/media and entertainment companies into the North American and global cross-platform content market-places, and in doing so has helped companies generate over $50 million in new revenues.


During an 8 year tenure as Executive Director of Mobile Programming – Americas, with Setanta Sports, Mr. Dillistone spearheaded the successful launch of Setanta Mobile into North America, driving the strategic direction of the company in development of content line-up - including FIFA World Cup and Rugby World Cup programming - negotiated Setanta’s carriage agreements with the Tier 1 and Tier 2 networks in the U.S. and Canada, and oversaw day-to-day operations in market. While with Setanta Sports, he created and fielded the cross-platform International Sports/ World Sports category and programming on U.S. and Canadian carrier networks, developing global content partnerships to enhance Setanta’s core offering, reaching 250 million consumers in the U.S. and Canada, year-on-year exceeding revenue and traffic expectations.

Mr. Dillistone also successfully led the launch of Setanta Mobile into mainland China, taking the lead in content localization and negotiation of distribution Agreements with China Mobile and China Unicom. In an ongoing position as Head of Business Development - North America, with Wildwave, Mr. Dillistone has been instrumental in securing content acquisition Agreements between Wildwave and the Canadian Football League and brokered distribution Agreements between Wildwave and a strong portfolio of Tier One/Two mobile and IPTV networks in the U.S. and Canada, positioning the company for strong North American presence and growth.

Recently, as Head of Transmedia Programming for Geosmack Enterprises, Mr. Dillistone played a key role in the negotiation, development and fielding of Geosmack’s 3D, social media and mobile programming for the 37th Ryder Cup, in association with Turner Sports Interactive and Geosmack's highly successful "Santa Tracker" program for Verizon Wireless.



 He has created successful cross-platform content programs and negotiated distribution deals in Canada and the U.S. for, amongst other partners and clients, Corus Entertainment, the NHL's Vancouver Canucks, Edmonton Oilers and the Calgary Flames, Rugby USA and FIFA’s U.S. Beach Soccer, continuing to lead them successfully to prominent positions within their respective markets, developing sponsorships, strategic distribution and creative partnerships with producers and networks around the world.



 Prior to his career in New Media development, Mr. Dillistone held positions as an editor/copy writer/project manager for top-ranked Advertising agencies, and as a senior member of the production teams for nationally-aired television commercials, which number amongst them Clio and Cannes Festival Lion winners. He attended Dalhousie University and the University of Toronto (Hons. BA - Comparative Literature/Psychology) and has studied film, theatre and marketing at the University of California - Berkeley and McGill University.
